About the Community Liaison Group

The CLG provides a forum for regular face-to-face communication and engagement between GeelongPort and its community. The CLG is an advisory body only and does not have any decision-making authority.

It aims to:

• Provide a forum for consultation on GeelongPort projects and initiatives

• Provide a forum for community members to raise concerns and discussion points on behalf of the communities they represent

• Seek community input to maximise the benefits of the port to Geelong and the surrounding region

• Improve knowledge and understanding of port operations.

The committee meets four times each year.
